Nakidim & the Family

    To mark the release of the new single "Connection" by Nakidim & the Family, I designed and animated this 3D lyrics video.

    

    The visual concept is deeply tied to the narrative of the song, which explores themes of melancholy and the bittersweet chase after memories of a past romance. The animation was created in the cold in December. I was craving for a hot, almost numb melancholy of a hazy Miami evening under a heavy, burning sunset.

    

    I translated this mood into a slow-paced, atmospheric 3D world dominated by warm palettes and long shadows. By embedding the typography directly into the environment, the lyrics become an integrated part of the protagonist's emotional journey rather than just an overlay.
